Finally, some good news
Jul. 17th, 2007 05:33 pmI got a letter on Saturday from a community college right across the river in Iowa. Granted, I'd much rather be at a university, but until I can get my transcripts that's not exactly possible. So, I'll be taking the offered $5,045 in financial aid (tuition will be about $1,500, so....yay money!) and going there this fall.
I also got a job with Walgreens this morning. I interviewed at Blockbuster again, but as always, they didn't get back to me when they said they would. I seriously can't figure out why they keep calling me in for interviews if they don't want to hire me. Seems a real waste of time.
But, whatever. Yay school, yay jobs and yay money.
I've given up on the relationship thing. I'm moving soon anyway, so what's the point? Honestly, at this point in my life I'm fine without one.
