So, I made it...
Sep. 18th, 2008 03:03 amAnd I'm really tired even after sleeping 10 hours. lol.
Flying was pretty easy, no real issues. I sat in Germany for five hours between flights and had to keep kicking myself to stay awake, lol.
When i got to the airport in Edinburgh I went though immigration, got my stuff and then took a bus to the city centre. I could have looked for apartments then, but I was exhausted. i got a bed in a four person room, with a nice lady from Austrailia whose daughter is working in London. She and I talked quite a bit.
Today I have to try to find a place to put minutes on my phone. Then I have to call the train company in Sweden, because when i try to book online all it does is take me to a blank page. lol. But whatever, I'll figure something out.
I'm also moving into my flat today. just have to call the lady that owns it when I top up my phone. Excited is an understatement, the place looks awesome.
I have to check out of here in an hour, so I'm gonna check on rates to store my bags for awhile. Dont want to run around the city carrying all that crap.

Date: 2008-09-18 01:45 pm (UTC)I'm planning on just staying in the hostel again tonight. I hate sharing a room but hey, it's only when I sleep. Otherwise I'm running around lol. And tomorrow i go to the airport at 6am, so it doesnt really make sense to get a place before I go. I can start looking when I get back. I'm gonna try to store my stuff here, but if I cant there's a bus station a mile away where I can.
And no, I couldnt figure it out! It was in Swedish and I kept waiting for an option to get it in English, but it never happened! Haha. Anyway, I could only understand the word Lappland. So I have no idea. I guess maybe I'll just wing it and check once I get to the airport. i know to take the bus to the town by it and then take a train from there to Stockholm, so as long as there's room on the train to you I'll get on that. otherwise I'll try and get a bus or something, no clue as yet. I'm sure it'll be fine.
