Email Pants!!
Dec. 23rd, 2006 05:37 pmOkay, so normally I don't pay any attention to commercials, but some cell phone company has been showing one lately that I find hilarious. A hard-rock band that sounds rather creepily similar to Aerosmith is singing about a pair of khakis being "email pants," which later segues into "GPS pants." The song is completed with a pretty kick-ass guitar solo, and a notice that the phone advertised is only $99.99.
I have no idea why it amuses me so much, but I giggle like a fucking moron every time I see it.
That's pretty much all that's going on. I've been incredibly lazy the past week or so, and will continue to conduct myself in such a fashion until I have to start working. Blockbuster finally called for a second interview, so hopefully I'll get to start soon.
I'm a little depressed, but not over anything specific. I usually get sad around the holidays, and I don't really know why. It was sunny and pretty warm out today, so I took a walk around the neighborhood. It felt really good.
Yeah, I'm boring. If I don't update this again before the holiday, it's probably because I'm busy watching The L Word on Showtime On Demand and trying to avoid most members of my family. Not really, since I love most of them, but my dad? Yeah, not so much.
Anyway, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanuka and Good Kwanzaa or whatever you happen to celebrate.
