I'm so relieved
Nov. 20th, 2008 12:36 amI had two essay exams due today, as well as two activity projects for a Womens Studies course. I did it. I didn't think I could, but I pulled it off. They may not be the best attempts I've ever made as I admit that I bullshitted my way through a lot of it, but I think they're definitely passable and that's what counts.
Now I only have one course to catch up in online, and a paper that I was supposed to submit in September when I got sick. Other than that, I have a papers due for three classes as well as a couple of exams before the term ends. I think I can do this and get fairly decent grades. lol.
This means that I'll be able to graduate. I've managed to pay off school enough to register for spring, and I need to apply for graduation. If I can't in the spring, I will in the summer. That way I can still get into UmeƄ. I've emailed my advisor and asked if I can still apply for spring, lol.
On December 1st I can apply to graduate school. I have to print out a bunch of transcript request forms and get them faxed as well, and my advisor has to write a letter to Sweden detailing when I'll graduate and my course plan for my last term. I'm emailing her about that sometime soon, but I'd rather wait until I get the actual application sent in so my documents dont get lost or whatever. She cant send it to me to send it in, it has to go to the office directly from the school. Which is fine, things like that just worry me a little. I just want to apply and get things sent in as soon as I possibly can to have a better chance.
This really shouldn't be freaking me out as much as it is. I guess I'm just really stressing over it since I want it so fucking much. If I don't get in I think it'll destroy me.
Anyway, yeah. I start at work tomorrow, and my roommate is being incredibly nice to me and letting me pay what I can when I can. He says that if I can't pay until January it's fine with him and he's in no hurry to get the money. Lol.
