have a job.
I got a call from Pizza Hut (yeah, I know, but whatever) and I'm to go in on Friday at 3pm to have my final interview and fill out tax forms. The lady I spoke to said that they can't officially make me a job offer until I'm interviewed, but that they do want to hire me.
So, yay! I'll have income, although small. Still, it's better than nothing. I'm still going to be hunting for a better job, hopefully something in an office setting, but until I can find a better position I'll take all the hours offered to me at this job. It'll be part time at first, but it's still better than nothing at all, so I really don't care.
I'm just so relieved. It's seemed absolutely hopeless the past couple of months, and I was really frustrated from handing my CV out and applying everywhere but never getting any calls. Colin says that since it's getting close to Christmas he's sure I'll get some more offers soon, but for now, I can deal. I'm glad he's being so nice and helping me out, although I'm sure the $5000 coming to me in January is helping him to be more lenient. lol.
I've caught up in three classes, and in one all I need to do is write three essay questions and answer some things on the website. I still have a month left to go before the start of final exams, and I'm confident I can pull this off. Hopefully.
I stayed in my room today because my throat felt like it was on fire. I need to go to the grocery store since I only have bread, lunchmeat, cheese, grapes and salad, but I have to borrow money against my deposit first and I really don't wanna do that. lol.
