101 in 1001 got old

mutedtempestand I just don't really care about finishing it anymore. I know it's bad of me, but I'd completed all the important tasks already and just couldn't make myself care enough about the remaining ones to update when I did complete them. So, I've removed the list from my sidebar. I'm proud of myself for completing the ones i did, since they were important to me, but the remaining ones just didn't seem worth it anymore.
Don't get me wrong, I still have goals. Quite a few, in fact. But things like watching 101 movies and reading 30 books for pleasure aren't really going to enhance my life in a significant way. I'm sure I'll make a new list in the future, but I think that working on it over a span of 1001 days is a bit long, especially considering that most people's goals change a lot during such a time period.
It's been fun and I'm very happy that I participated, and I'm glad that I accomplished what I did on the list. But I think it's time to move on from it now and set my sights on other, more meaningful goals.
