That Southern Illinois at Carbondale has a Linguistics degree that should be easily obtainable within a year...it's 34 credits in linguistics, plus a year of a non-western language (which I already have...Japanese is awesome). That means I'll have to take a few more credit hours per semester than I'm used to, but at the end of it all it shouldn't be too bad. Plus, I'm still eligible for 19 hours of financial aid after the spring, so I have at least one semester paid for by the Feds. I love those guys sometimes.
Of course, to make the degree mean anything I'll have to pursue a masters in Speech Pathology or Audiology to get certified, but meh. At this point I'd be happy enough with the bachelors.
In other news, finals aren't as bad as I was anticipating. Two papers, four exams and a few mundane little exercises and I'll be good to go. I might even get a happy one-shot in by tomorrow night. "You" should be updated by Tuesday night at the very latest.
Go me or some such thing. Oh yeah, and it's 7 degrees Farenheit here. I love it immensely. I think I was misplaced at birth...I should move to Fairbanks, Alaska or some other place like that.
