I was asked by a friend online today what I would do if I were ludicrously wealthy. I really had to give it some thought because honestly, I'm quite happy with very little. I suppose it's one of the good things that comes from being a street kid, you learn to appreciate what you have. As long as I have food and medicine to sustain me I honestly don't care what else I have. Money's nice, obviously, but it's just paper and coins in the end.

Still...First and foremost, I would make sure my baby brothers never want for anything. I wouldn't spoil them, but they'd never have to worry about not being able to afford college or anything else they truly needed. Id take care of them.

After that, I'd made sure Lisa was taken care of. Buy her a kitty and a nice little place somewhere close to her job and hire her a driver so she never has to worry about being scared to drive. And, although I hate her parents for taking advantage of her, I'd pay them off so they never pressure her to part with her money ever again on their behalf.

I'd also make sure DD had whatever she needs/wants for the rest of her life. Even if it's a house built in the shape of Hello Kitty and filled to the brim with memorabilia. :P

Then I'd make sure my gran was secure and that my grandparents were cared for and were able to enjoy their retirement like they should.

After that I'd give sizable donations to St. Jude's, Shriner's, Autism Speaks, and other worthy charities/causes, especially for children and animals.

For myself, I would buy a nice little house in the Backen area in Pite and make any needed renovations to it. Would definitely build a large library off the back and plant a nice little wood on the land, with trails to walk and rocks to sit on and write poetry. I'd also buy a cottage in the Scottish Highlands and visit there several times a year for several weeks at a time. Buy myself books on everything I could think of. Finally get around to reading all the classics, become fluent in Latin (again), Japanese, Swedish, Gaelic and Lakota. Really learn to cook and make my meals from scratch. Have a huge vegetable/flower garden in the summers and spend my days working in it. Finance Anna's book store and visit frequently, giving all profit to her. Travel to Marseilles and Thailand and New Zealand and Japan and Prague and Siberia and anywhere else I might get wanderlust for, but always come home to Pite again when I'm done. Have huge bonfires out back with my friends often and invite them over lots to warm up my house.

...Don't want much, do I? :P
