Nervous
Okay, so, applications for graduate school in UmeƄ open on Monday. This morning I emailed my advisor and asked her to write me a short document. Since I won't have my bachelor's degree when I apply, it says, "If you are still working towards your undergraduate degree, you need to include with your application a document from your current University, outlining when you are expected to graduate as well as a course outline for the last semester." I copy/pasted that and the address she needs to send it to. Now hopefully she'll get on it before the semester ends.
I have to get transcript requests faxed to the schools I've attended as well. I'd go ahead and do that today, but it's Thanksgiving break and it'd be pointless. So, on Monday, I'm getting up early and doing that, filling out my application/coversheet, and getting a copy of my passport and having a Notary Public stamp it for me so I can mail all that stuff to the office in Stroemsund. Then I just have to wait until all my documents get there. The University sends out acceptance letters in April. I won't be home then, but hopefully my grandparents will let me know when it gets there.
Then on Monday at 2:20pm I have an interview for a fundraising organization. Basically, I stand on the street and ask people walking by if they'd like to donate. Honestly I'm scared to do that but it'll only be for about two weeks once I get started. When I come back from Sweden I'll have my school money coming in and will be able to look for more of an office job. I really gave Pizza Hut a shot, but after several panic attacks in the back room they've asked me to find something else. Not that I blame them, and fast food sucks anyway. I want something full time. Actually, I don't just want that, I need it.
